Burger & Lobster | Canary Wharf, London

"We focus our energy on making two products the absolute best they can be without any other distractions. We're obsessed with refining our techniques to specialise in the simplicity of our mono-product offering... We craft prime burgers and serve wild, fresh Atlantic lobsters."
- Burger & Lobster

Along the West India Quay in Canary Wharf is a delicious restaurant called Burger & Lobster. A place that specialises in the most delicious burger and lobster dishes, as well as some wonderful cocktails and mocktails.

The menu doesn't have a huge selection of dishes to choose from, however as the name suggests, Burger & Lobster specialises on two main meals - burgers and lobsters. I opted for the B&L Burger with fries.

B&L Burger
5oz beef patty topped with grilled lobster meat, brie, truffle and tarragon mayo, fennel and Chinese cabbage.

Fries
Our classic B&L fries

It was the first time I had tasted lobster and it was so delicious. The burger tasted absolutely amazing too, and it is clear that Burger & Lobster have spent time perfecting the dishes that they offer.

For a drink, I had a Lobster Martini.

Lobster Martini
Absolut vodka, rose, pineapple, vanilla, passionfruit, pomegranate, lime, fizz

Inside the restaurant was cosy and chilled. There is also an outside seating area which would be lovely in the summer, however it was raining the evening we visited (typical) so we stayed nice and dry inside.

I would definitely recommend a visit to Burger & Lobster. It's not the place for you if you're after a larger variety of choice, or a cheap and cheerful burger - however if you're after some deliciously prepared lobster or burgers as a treat then I would highly recommend it.
