Happy 2018 Everyone!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and enjoyed celebrating New Year! This sounds really cliché but I genuinely can't believe it's 2018 already. So many things changed during 2017 and it was such an exciting year for me, and I'm super excited for this year to come!

So welcome to my first blog post of 2018.

I was umming and ahhhing about what to do as my first blog post for this year. I thought about writing down my goals or resolutions for this coming year but tbh my goals are the same as always and basically the same goals that everyone has every year anyway... for example " to lose weight", "to save more money", "to eat more healthily", "to be more organised" etc. etc. blah blah blah...

Soooo instead I decided to start this year off with sharing some things that I am currently loving. This blog post might give you a few ideas of things to treat yourself to because a few little purchases for yourself is a lovely way to start off a new year right?

Chanel Coco Mademoiselle Parfum

I am a massive fan of Chanel fragrances but I think that Coco Mademoiselle is my favourite fragrance out of their collection. I am really bad at describing perfume scents however Chanel describes Coco Mademoiselle as... "The essence of a bold, free woman. An oriental fragrance with a strong personality, yet surprising fresh." I think it is a beautiful perfume with a scents of orange, rose and jasmine, and the bottle is so pretty too. Overall my fragrance of 2018.

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara

The Better Than Sex mascara by Too Faced is the number one prestige mascara in the U.S. due to it's hourglass-shaped brush, and thickening, nourishing and smudge-proof formula that gives amazing all day wear! (It is perfect for vegans too.) This is a major favourite of mine when it comes to mascaras; although my other favourites include Benefit Roller Lash and L'Oréal Volume Million Lashes.

Morphe 25A Copper Spice Eyeshadow Palette

I finally got my hands on a Morphe palette this Christmas, and I haven't stopped using it since I received it! This is the beautiful Limited Edition Copper Spice Palette filled with loads of earthy, bronzed matte and shimmery shades. The quality of Morphe eyeshadow is amazing! It is so easy to blend and perfect for all day wear.

Real Techniques Blush Brush

Basically you can't go wrong with a Real Techniques brush! This blush brush by Sam & Nic Chapman is simply a great quality brush - perfect for contouring and defining your cheeks.

Batiste Heat & Shine Spray

In an attempt to keep my hair in good condition I decided to try a new heat protection spray. This Heat & Shine Spray aims to protect your hair from heat whilst simultaneously moisturising and conditioning it - giving it a beautiful shine! I've used it several times when straightening and curling my hair and I've been very impressed by the product every time.

NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick (04)

During my trip to Barcelona last summer I picked up this NYX cream lipstick in the store there and I am still in love with this shade 04. The colour is amazing and the consistency of the suede lipstick product is amazing. It is so easy to apply and stays in place for ages. One thing I will say though is that the colour gradually gets darker after it is applied so if you're not a fan of dark lips then maybe opt for a lighter shade.

Lush Eau Roma Water

In the Winter it is important to look after your skin. You don't have to slave over a huge skincare routine every single day but I have recently added this skincare toner to my routine and I have definitely seen a difference in my skin already. After cleansing my skin in the morning, I just spritz a little bit of the toner over my face. It refreshes and calms down the skin consequently reducing redness and irritation. It smells lovely and fresh too as it contains lavender and rose water.

Steve Laurant Precision Tip Eyeliner

I received this eyeliner in my Glossybox last month and it's amazing! This perfect eyeliner provides an amazing black bold line, and with it's thin precision tip it's so easy to use! It is also very long lasting and smudge-free too. Previously I wouldn't spend much on an eyeliner and tend to just buy drugstore eyeliners because they run out so quickly, but after using this one from Steve Laurant I am tempted to try other more high-end eyeliners.

Soap and Glory Sexy Motherpucker Shine Lipstick (Love & Obeige)

Such a beautiful shine lipstick by Soap & Glory. The consistency is super-soft, conditioning and creamy - lovelyyyy! The lipstick comes in several different shades but Love and Obeige is one of my favourites.

SOSU Suzanne Jackson Hot Fire Signature Smoky Eye Palette

I had never heard of this brand before my sister went to Beautycon this year and brought this beautiful palette back. This smoky eye palette is so versatile and the quality of the eyeshadow is amazing. I especially love the shades Pot of Gold, Flame and Blaze. I must admit it is very similar to the Morphe Copper Spice palette but you can never have too many eyeshadow palettes right?
