Coppers is a lovely independent restaurant in The Old Beckenham Police Station, and it is where I celebrated my 18th birthday with the rest of my family yesterday!
The restaurant serves delicious British food with a wonderful atmosphere - a lovely place to spend my 18th with my family. As it was a Sunday the menu was predominately Sunday Roast Dinners, but there were also vegetarian or fish dishes available. I chose my starter of Tomato and Basil Soup with Toasted Bread, and my main was Roast Lamb with all the trimmings. The food was so delicious, and filling!
After our meals we ordered dessert. I decided to order the Treacle Tart with Jersey Cream and Fresh Strawberries. It was sooo delicious! Then from behind me I heard sparklers and suddenly everyone started to sing happy birthday to me as a waiter brought out a glass of prosecco (*very embarrassing*)
Overall I had a wonderful meal at Coppers with my family whom I love very much! I would definitely recommend a meal there if you are ever in the area.
