Up in the Scottish mountains overlooking Loch Lomond.
Following on from our visit to Luss, we stopped off in Inveruglas for a hike to the Loch Sloy Dam. We started our incline up the side of hills and mountains, and the weather dipped in and out of sunshine and rain (typical Scotland). The higher we got the foggier it became, and the views became more and more breath-taking. We made it to the dam and it was a lovely site. We were surrounded by forest, sheep and large mountains (even some topped with snow)!
We then made our way back down, and we spotted a beautiful rainbow shining over Loch Lomond. For an even better view of the Loch, we walked up to the rather modern and sophisticated viewpoint next to the visitor centre in Inveruglas, oh and also stopped for a well-deserved coffee in the little café there.
Overall we experienced such gorgeous views, and I had a lovely day with my family!
